code. 15 is the name of the fifteenth chapter of the Given manga.

Overview

The band took their publicity shots with Koji as their photographer. Akihiko took Mafuyu to a violin concerto.

Characters

Story

The band is having a photoshoot with Koji as their photographer. Koji threatens to make them pay a fine every time someone cracks a laugh in the middle of the shoot. The photoshoot was the first one any of them had that was done professionally. The publicity shots are used for promotionals and many other things. Ritsuka and Mafuyu are currently studying for an exam. It was revealed that Haruki, Akihiko and Koji are all majoring in humanities, while Mafuyu and Ritsuka are in the science track.

Through the summer, the band practiced often, Mafuyu and Ritsuka had their exam and they celebrated Haruki’s birthday. As summer vacation started, Ritsuka had to attend supplementary lessons as he had low scores during the exam. Mafuyu, on the other hand, has been spending a lot of time at Akihiko’s house to learn music.

Mafuyu witnessed Akihiko in a car, kissing a woman before receiving a sum of money. Mafuyu asked if it’s a paid date, but Akihiko denied it, saying that it’s the woman’s habit. Mafuyu then recalls Haruki saying that Akihiko used to be wild and he would screw around a lot of women, but he has mellowed out. Mafuyu asked Kaji if he actually hadn’t mellowed out, that he just doesn’t show Haruki that side of him anymore. Kaji only replied to his question by grinning.

Mafuyu had wanted to learn about music, and Akihiko was surprised to learn that Mafuyu was interested in classical music. Mafuyu thanked him for the ticket but Akihiko said that they were not from him. Ugetsu has taken a liking to Mafuyu and thinks that he’s interesting. Akihiko explained that the violinist is the only one standing since it is a violin concerto.
